Throw out what you know about rock artists: Chrissy Cerretani takes the definition to a whole new level. Only a few years into the journey, Chrissy has demonstrated onstage and off that she and her music are for real. If her songs; and the near-abandon with which she performs them aren't enough to convince you, her industry friends and legions of fans will do the job. They'll tell you that Chrissy is an artist of intense passion and vision, and that she brings a contemporary twist to the time-proven elements of what is an entertaining rock show. 
But that's not all. Chrissy's commanding voice is not just the instrument by which she delivers some of the freshest mix of vintage and contemporary rock heard anywhere today. Hers is the voice of a motivating spirit, reaching out to her listeners with a message of determination and empowerment. 
Raised on a diet of The Beatles, Eagles, Crosby, Stills, & Nash, Sheryl Crow, and Sarah McClachlan; along with Alanis Morrissette, Madonna, Led Zepplin, Journey, and Guns and Roses, a blueprint was established. But it wasn't until her performance at a local Boston open mic and the staggering response it received, that it became clear to Chrissy that it was this combination of attitude and avenue that would be the components of her life. 
From the pop rock 'Live the Dream' and southern rock anthem and 'Stand Up and Shout,' to the Bonnie Raitt influenced "Leave It" and the reggae-infused rock "Here For you", Chrissy serves notice that hard work equals dreams realized, each individual is the star of their own life story, and any obstacle or setback can be surmounted.  
As a former national and collegiate tennis star with a Master's in Journalism from Boston University, she brings these skills, determination, and tenacity to the table for a performance of stunning visual appeal and surprising musical depth.
